Vasco is the revenue context layer for AI agents. The company structures CRM, billing, calls, and support data into a semantic layer where every metric is sourced, every definition is locked, and every answer is deterministic. Vasco then builds AI agents that automate manual busywork, enabling revenue leaders to make confident, data-driven decisions. As the founding Community Manager, you will report to the Head of Sales and own Vasco and sister brand RevStar's day-to-day presence in communities where CROs, sales leaders, and RevOps leaders gather. Your mission is to build relationships that earn trust and recognition for both brands across North America. Key responsibilities: • Community Building & Presence: Build daily relationships inside communities where target decision-makers gather—LinkedIn, Reddit, Substack, and in-person spaces—so leaders come to recognize and trust Vasco and RevStar. • Field Presence: Attend industry events, meetups, and community gatherings across North America. Run community-building plays that resonate with your audience. • Founder Credibility: Amplify the voices of the CEO and Head of Sales through ghost-written content, warm introductions, and thought leadership so prospects already know them when sales reaches out. • Event Pull: Grow the warm network that fills events with the right decision-makers in each target city. • Community Intelligence: Bring insights from community conversations back to sales and marketing so positioning and event strategy stay grounded in what revenue leaders actually care about. You'll be "painting the bus while driving it"—within 12 months, when Vasco runs an event in a target city, the right decision-makers should be asking for a seat. Workplace: Hybrid in Montreal, three days in-person per week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday) at WeWork Place Ville-Marie in downtown Montreal. You'll also travel for events and community gatherings, primarily across North America. Company highlights: Small, high-caliber team with experienced founders still building alongside you. Early-stage pace with real ownership—problems are unsolved, the path isn't fixed, and your judgment shapes what happens next. AI-forward in how the company works and what it builds. Real autonomy to experiment, learn new skills, and take on projects beyond your role. Requirements: • Proven community building: You've built a community, audience, or advocacy program for a B2B audience on online channels (Slack, Reddit, Substack, LinkedIn) or in a local scene, and can demonstrate how it grew. • Self-directed execution: You've carried a mandate week after week without someone checking your work. • Visible and behind-the-scenes work: You've represented a brand publicly and amplified other voices, including work shipped under someone else's name. • Senior audience fluency: You can hold your own in conversation with revenue leaders and founders. Desirable qualifications: • Event hosting experience: You've hosted events and been the face in the room, from intimate dinners to conference activations. • Revenue community network: You've built relationships inside GTM, sales, or RevOps communities. • B2B background: You've done community or brand work aimed at B2B buyers. • Bilingual: You work comfortably in English and French.
