Jerry is building an AI-powered platform to simplify car ownership—from shopping and insurance to repairs and maintenance. With 5M+ users and $240M+ in funding, the company is expanding into home, motorcycle, and RV management. As Community Manager, you'll represent Jerry authentically across the communities where car owners actually congregate: Reddit, Quora, TikTok, and YouTube. Rather than traditional corporate social media management, you'll participate genuinely in existing communities, build and grow Jerry's subreddits, and develop a playbook for how to show up authentically on each platform. You'll own: - Building and growing Jerry's organic presence across Reddit, Quora, YouTube, and TikTok - Developing platform-specific strategies: when to post, reply, or stay silent - Growing Jerry's subreddits into active, trusted communities - Creating a content and engagement strategy that scales without losing authenticity, leveraging AI where appropriate - Collaborating with Growth and Content teams to maintain consistency across channels - Measuring impact through sentiment, share of voice, referral traffic, and LLM citations Jerry is remote-first but has offices in Palo Alto, New York City, Chicago, and Toronto. The company has been profitable since 2024 and is led by serial entrepreneurs backed by Y Combinator, with a team drawn from Nvidia, Meta, Amazon, BCG, McKinsey, Bain, and GEICO. REQUIREMENTS: - 3+ years in community management or organic social, ideally in fintech, insurtech, or other consumer-facing and/or regulated categories - Platform native with authentic voice across Reddit, TikTok, and Quora; visceral dislike of corporate-speak - Strategic operator who builds systems, not just vibes; understanding of SEO and how LLMs cite sources - Proven ability to make "boring" or "stressful" categories feel human, authentic, and worth following - Patient, curious long-game player who values organic trust over quick PR wins
