Salary: USD 60,000 - 65,000 / annual

Boulder Care, a Series C digital clinic for addiction medicine, is seeking a Community Engagement Liaison based in Ohio. This is a hybrid field-based role requiring up to four days per week in the community conducting partner meetings, outreach visits, and attending events, with the remainder of the work week spent in a home-based remote office for administrative work. Candidates must reside in Ohio to support effective regional coverage and consistent in-person outreach. You will serve as the trusted face of Boulder Care's mission in your community, acting as a boots-on-the-ground relationship owner. Your primary responsibilities include identifying and developing new referral opportunities with healthcare providers, community organizations, reentry systems, and local stakeholders; growing and managing existing partner relationships; and expanding regional networks to connect more people to Boulder Care's compassionate, harm-reduction-based addiction treatment services. Key responsibilities include: building relationships with new referral partners and managing them from initial outreach through ongoing engagement to grow referrals and support enrollment goals; nurturing and scaling existing partnerships to ensure partners remain clinically and philosophically aligned with Boulder's mission; utilizing CRM tools like Salesforce to manage follow-ups, track activity, conversion rates, and ROI on partnership outreach; spending most of your time in the field building relationships and identifying local needs and barriers to care; collecting and analyzing feedback from community partners to refine Boulder's referral strategies; and collaborating across marketing, commercial, clinical, product, and operations teams to develop and execute 6–12-month regional or statewide outreach plans. You will have autonomy to shape outreach strategies in your region, prioritize your efforts, and independently manage your territory while contributing to broader growth goals. This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, typically Monday through Friday during standard business hours, with flexibility for events and occasional evening or weekend work as needed. REQUIREMENTS: - 3+ years of experience in community outreach, business development, sales, or referral management within healthcare, hospital systems, or behavioral health settings - Proven track record of building and growing referral relationships and driving patient or partner growth through sustained engagement - Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM tools and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, etc.) - Ability to travel locally with reliable transportation and valid driver's license, approximately 4 days per week for partner meetings - Self-starter with ability to take initiative and work autonomously while managing multiple priorities - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including strong public speaking abilities, demonstrating empathy and a patient-first/client-first mindset - Passionate about serving marginalized and vulnerable populations - Proven ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality when working with sensitive and confidential information PREFERRED (not required): - Experience within the substance use disorder (SUD) treatment community with existing relationships in this space - Experience working with clinical staff, healthcare administration staff, and people with opioid use disorders
