Notion is hiring a Commercial Solutions Consultant for its Sydney office to own the full customer lifecycle and drive enterprise software sales in a new model. You'll be the single point of accountability for your book of business, managing new logo acquisition, expansion, and renewal across mid-market and enterprise accounts.
In this role, you'll design and build workflow solutions live with customers—discovery happens through hands-on demos and co-building in Notion, not slide decks. You'll translate customer workflows into commercial outcomes, navigate complex procurement and legal cycles, and ensure that credits sold translate into credits consumed. You'll partner closely with Business Development Representatives on target account planning and outbound motion, while collaborating with Outcomes Architects on implementation, adoption planning, and expansion strategies.
You'll need 1–3 years of experience selling technical products to technical buyers, with genuine comfort building and troubleshooting live in software. Strong discovery and qualification instincts are essential—you must map customer workflows and translate them into adoption plans and commercial proposals. You should be comfortable owning multi-stakeholder interactions including procurement, legal, and security reviews, and operating with agency and urgency to present simple solutions to complex problems.
Nice-to-haves include full-cycle B2B software sales or solutions engineering experience with a track record of exceeding quota, familiarity with usage-based or consumption-based pricing models, prior experience selling to mid-market and enterprise in productivity or collaboration software, and experience in shared account ownership models. You should be obsessed with AI, constantly building with new tools and learning new ways of working. Notion values intellectual curiosity, tinkering, and using AI as a real collaborator—not a novelty.
