Notion is hiring a Commercial Solutions Consultant to own the full customer lifecycle for a book of business in New York. You'll be the single point of accountability for new logo acquisition, expansion, and renewal, ensuring that credits sold translate into credits consumed. In this role, you'll design and build workflow solutions live with customers—discovery happens through hands-on demos and co-building in Notion, not slide decks. You'll run discovery sessions, architect current-to-future-state workflows, and build alongside customers to translate their needs into commercial outcomes. You'll partner closely with Business Development Representatives on target account planning and co-own outbound motion for your book, running direct outreach to priority stakeholders. You'll navigate the full commercial cycle: sizing, proposal construction, procurement, legal, and security reviews to close deals with appropriate scope and implementation paths. Post-close, you'll guide customers through early implementation with clear adoption plans and hand off to Outcomes Architects for ongoing expansion. You'll partner with OAs on onboarding, adoption strategies, and renewal execution—owning the commercial arc while they drive day-to-day workflow adoption. You'll need 1–3 years selling technical products to technical buyers, with genuine comfort building live in software. Strong discovery and qualification instincts are essential, as is the ability to map customer workflows to commercial outcomes. You must operate with agency and urgency, own the room in multi-stakeholder interactions, and be obsessed with AI and new ways of working. Nice-to-haves include full-cycle B2B SaaS sales or solutions engineering experience, familiarity with usage-based or consumption-based pricing models, prior experience selling to mid-market and enterprise in productivity/collaboration software, and experience in shared account ownership models.
