incident.io is a Series B AI-powered incident response platform trusted by leading engineering teams including OpenAI, Netflix, and Airbnb. The company has raised $96M and is scaling rapidly across North America. As Commercial Sales Manager, you'll build and lead the team driving growth in the Commercial segment (early-stage startups through upper mid-market). Based in San Francisco, you'll manage a team of Account Executives covering the full North America territory. Day-to-day responsibilities include running deal reviews, coaching reps through negotiations, conducting discovery call ride-alongs, maintaining tight forecasting rhythms, and raising the bar on outbound execution. You'll work closely with the Head of Commercial Sales and CRO to shape go-to-market strategy, and partner across Marketing, RevOps, Product, Customer Success, Legal, and Finance. The role requires constant pattern-spotting across deals and rep behavior, translating observations into coaching and process improvements. This is a foundational GTM seat with direct proximity to executive leadership and real influence over scaling the Commercial business. You'll build the bench of Account Executives who become incident's next enterprise sellers and leaders. Ideal candidates have led high-velocity SMB or Commercial sales teams at fast-growing B2B SaaS companies with consistent quota attainment. You understand full-cycle SaaS selling, can diagnose what's working in discovery calls, and love hiring raw talent and developing it into star performers. You're a systems builder motivated by team performance rather than process for its own sake, comfortable operating across multiple cross-functional teams, and energized by proximity to the business and executive leadership.
