You will serve as Commercial Counsel supporting a high volume of commercial transactions across Sales, Channel/Alliances, and Customer Success teams. This role is ideal for someone with 3–5+ years of SaaS or technology contracting experience looking to deepen in-house legal expertise in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Key responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements (NDAs, MSAs, DPAs, order forms, evaluation and trial agreements); supporting Sales and Customer Success in closing deals efficiently while managing company risk; reviewing customer contract requests and redlines; partnering with Sales and RevOps to keep deals moving; providing clear guidance to non-legal stakeholders on contract terms; maintaining standard templates and clause libraries; and contributing to process improvements for high-volume sales environments.
You'll work closely with internal teams including Sales, RevOps, Security, and Privacy to ensure contract terms align with business and product needs. The role offers significant room for growth, hands-on business engagement, and the opportunity to build strong cross-functional relationships.
Required qualifications: law degree from an accredited law school; 3–5+ years of relevant experience at a law firm or in-house with focus on commercial technology transactions; excellent contract drafting, negotiation, and communication skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment; comfort with AI and legal tech tools.
Preferred qualifications include in-house SaaS legal experience, channel/MSP/MSSP/distributor model experience, familiarity with international contracting (GDPR, cross-border data transfers, export control), German fluency (English required), and prior cybersecurity company experience.
