Salary: USD 160,000 - 175,000 / annual

Attentive is seeking a Commercial Counsel to join its legal team. The role focuses on structuring, drafting, and reviewing SaaS agreements and Data Protection Agreements with customers, as well as contracts with strategic partners, vendors, and service providers. The successful candidate will work closely with revenue, marketing, finance, people, and product teams to identify, investigate, and manage legal risk across product, marketing, and business initiatives. Key responsibilities include: - Structure, draft, and review SaaS agreements and Data Protection Agreements with clients and contracts with strategic partners, vendors, and service providers - Work closely with internal business teams to identify, investigate, and manage legal risk across a wide range of product, marketing, and business initiatives - Engage in customer-facing communication regarding contracts - Help formulate legal policy and process across the organization as it matures and grows - Remain knowledgeable on relevant industry and privacy laws and regulations Required qualifications: - Juris Doctor degree and qualified to practice law in-house in New York or the state where you live - At least four years of commercial legal experience - Experience in drafting and negotiating SaaS and other technology agreements, either in-house or on behalf of a client - Ability to provide legally sound, pragmatic, and practical recommendations under tight deadlines - Strong "business-friendly" style with understanding that the Legal team's primary purpose is to support the growth and success of the business - Empathetic, enthusiastic, and energetic with a solutions-oriented mindset - Adtech/Martech experience is a plus but not required Location is flexible with a preference for Central Time schedule (starting work day at 10am ET).
