As a Collections Executive, you will be the primary point of contact for SME business owners, providing comprehensive financial support and solutions. Your core responsibilities include assessing borrower financial situations, diagnosing problems, proposing tailored solutions, and building strong relationships based on understanding their needs. You will manage accounts with a strong focus on cash collection and aged debt clearance, working to minimize loan defaults while protecting investor returns.
You'll own your productivity and workload management, ensuring you consistently meet service level agreements and KPIs. The role requires flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and undertake ad hoc duties as required. You must maintain compliance with all relevant regulatory and FCA guidelines throughout your interactions with borrowers, colleagues, and the business.
The ideal candidate brings 6+ months of customer-facing experience in financial services, with a proven track record of achieving targets and SLAs. You are organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple systems concurrently. Strong empathy skills and first-class customer service abilities are essential, as is the ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality. You're motivated, deadline-driven, and proactively seek ways to use generative AI tools to streamline tasks and improve personal productivity.
