Qonto, a European fintech serving over 600,000 SME clients across 8 countries, recently acquired Acasi to build an integrated banking and accounting platform. You'll join a hypergrowth team as an experienced accountant or bookkeeper, serving a portfolio of independent clients (freelancers, consultants, e-commerce businesses, real estate agents, holding companies) with autonomy and impact.
Your responsibilities include: serving as the primary trusted advisor on tax, financial, legal, and accounting matters for your client portfolio; managing bookkeeping, account reviews, and tax obligations (VAT, tax filings, statutory deposits) using AI-enhanced tools designed for efficiency; providing direct feedback to the product team on client needs and frustrations to shape the Acasi solution; contributing to periodic account closures and ensuring accuracy; and mentoring junior team members.
You bring at least 3 years of accounting firm experience, with formal training (DSCG, Master CCA, or EC bookkeeper certification). You're comfortable with digital tools and AI, viewing technology as an advantage rather than a threat. You're genuinely interested in building something new—Acasi is not a static firm, and you want to actively shape its evolution. French fluency is essential for client relationships; B1 English minimum required as teams and tools operate partly in English.
What makes this role distinctive: you'll be at the center of AI-driven transformation in accounting, not observing from the sidelines. You have direct influence on accounting software used by thousands of clients—rare for traditional firms. You own your portfolio with real autonomy from day one, and your compensation is competitive and regularly reviewed. If you're pursuing your bookkeeper certification (mémorialiste), Qonto covers all mandatory training, provides exam coaching and study time.
