Deliberate AI is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to manage day-to-day operations across multiple concurrent clinical research studies and sites. This hybrid role is based in Cambridge, MA and sits at the intersection of clinical research administration and AI-driven digital mental health technology.
You will own the operational backbone of federally funded research projects developing and validating AI-driven mental health biomarkers. Key responsibilities include: tracking recruitment and enrollment across multiple studies; proactively scheduling participant assessments with clinical interviewers; monitoring milestones and reports due to IRBs and funding agencies; serving as the primary point of contact for research participants throughout longitudinal studies; collecting and organizing research data into study databases; assisting in the design of participant tracking systems; coordinating across the research team, participants, and clinical sites; assembling and distributing biomarker collection kits and wearables; and ensuring compliance with institutional, state, and federal regulations.
You'll work alongside academic and industry leaders in mental health in a fast-moving startup environment where your organizational skills and attention to detail directly shape data quality. This role offers direct exposure to AI-driven digital mental health assessment and biomarker research, with the opportunity to build clinical research experience translating to future roles in clinical research, digital mental health, or clinical operations.
Required: Bachelor's degree; experience coordinating clinical research studies (ideally multi-site) or similar experience in clinical care, scheduling, and progress tracking. Preferred: background in psychology, public health, or biology; familiarity with research databases and electronic data capture systems like REDCap. Essential: outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and oral communication, and comfort managing concurrent deadlines in a fast-paced startup environment.
