Hippocratic AI is hiring a Clinical AI Product Specialist (RN) to bridge clinical expertise and AI product development. You'll evaluate and improve the company's healthcare-focused large language models, ensuring they are accurate, safe, and aligned with clinical best practices.
In this role, you'll design and execute clinical evaluation protocols to assess model accuracy and safety against medical guidelines and standards of care. You'll translate frontline nursing expertise into product decisions—shaping dialog flows, safety rails, escalation criteria, and patient-friendly explanations. You'll author "gold standards" by creating test cases, rubrics, and reference answers for high-stakes clinical scenarios, defining acceptance criteria for model releases.
You'll work cross-functionally with ML researchers, speech/voice specialists, product managers, and QA teams to prioritize improvements and measure impact. This role sits at the intersection of clinical expertise, patient communication, and product innovation.
Must-haves: Active, unrestricted RN license; clinical experience in acute, ambulatory, telehealth, or community settings; strong patient communication skills; prior experience with LLMs, conversational AI, or clinical NLP; commitment to safety and ethics with HIPAA/PHI familiarity.
Nice-to-haves: Nursing Informatics experience, quality/safety or clinical education background, familiarity with clinical guidelines and patient-education best practices, domain expertise in clinical and care management workflows.
