Viva.com, Europe's first Tech Bank for Businesses, is seeking a Client Relationship Representative to drive merchant acquisition and support in the field. This role combines business development with customer success, focusing on actively promoting Viva.com's comprehensive fintech services—including omnichannel payment acceptance, card issuing, loans, and deposit accounts—directly to merchants across Europe.
You will be responsible for identifying and onboarding new merchants, guiding them through verification and activation processes, and ensuring seamless ongoing support. Your day-to-day will involve visiting clients, presenting product features and benefits, monitoring portfolio performance, addressing merchant issues, and attending industry events to strengthen business relationships. This is a field-based position requiring direct engagement with merchants to drive adoption of Viva.com's technology-driven solutions.
Viva.com operates under a Bank of Greece license and the EU FOS regime across 29 EU countries. The company is pioneering Tap on Any Device technology and building an ecosystem of over 450 tech partners. You'll be part of a dynamic, international fintech team working to accelerate businesses' adoption of cutting-edge payment and financial technology.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years of experience in business development, ideally in the payment sector; FMCG, retail, or other relevant sales functions also considered
- Ability to identify business potential and added value in technology-driven commercial solutions
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with confidence interacting at all organizational levels
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively on parallel projects
- Business-level fluency in English and Portuguese
