Viva.com, Europe's leading tech bank for businesses, is seeking a Client Relationship On-Field Representative based in Cork to drive merchant acquisition and activation in the hospitality and retail sectors. This is a field-based role requiring travel throughout the Cork region with your own vehicle and valid Irish or European driving licence.
You will be a key member of the Direct Representatives Team, responsible for promoting Viva.com's omnichannel payment solutions, card issuing, loans, and deposit accounts directly to business clients. Your primary focus will be visiting merchant premises, assisting with verification and activation processes, and providing ongoing in-person support to ensure successful product adoption.
Key responsibilities include: promoting company services through direct client visits; supporting merchants through verification and activation workflows; monitoring portfolio performance and engagement metrics; providing consultation and product demonstrations to prospective and existing customers; managing both scheduled and self-initiated outreach activities; ensuring new merchants complete registration and existing merchants maintain active usage; escalating complex issues through proper case management; and attending industry events.
You will work with a diverse client base across bars, hotels, restaurants, cafes, takeaways, and retail establishments. The role requires strong organizational skills, CRM system proficiency, excellent negotiation abilities, and resilience in handling objections. A tech-forward mindset and fluency in English are essential.
