The Client Partner – Tech, Telecom & Media role is a strategic, consultative sales position focused on driving growth in Knit's Tech, Telecom & Media vertical. You will own a portfolio of 10–20 enterprise accounts (a mix of existing and new logos) with the mandate to retain, grow, and expand them across business units and markets. These are fast-moving organizations where insights teams sit close to product, subscriber growth, content, and advertising decisions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning and growing a portfolio of 10–20 enterprise accounts in Tech, Telecom & Media, including both existing clients and targeted net-new logos
- Driving renewals and expansion, ensuring every partnership grows in scope, scale, and value year over year
- Uncovering and pursuing new opportunities within existing and prospective accounts—identifying new business units, teams, and use cases (e.g., subscriber acquisition and churn, pricing and plan packaging, content and creative testing, audience segmentation, ad effectiveness, product launches)
- Acting as a strategic advisor to senior Consumer Insights, Audience Research, Product/UX Research, Market Intelligence, and Marketing leaders
- Developing and executing account plans that identify whitespace, prioritize client goals, map key stakeholders, and drive consistent revenue growth
- Leading commercial negotiations—owning renewals, upsells, and cross-sells in collaboration with Sales Leadership
- Collaborating deeply with Customer Success, Research, and Product to ensure clients realize full value from Knit
- Representing Knit externally at Tech, Telecom & Media conferences, client summits, and industry events
- Maintaining high standards for pipeline integrity, forecasting accuracy, and documentation
Success is measured by net-new revenue, net revenue retention (NRR), renewal rate, and sales excellence (disciplined account plans, accurate forecasts, clear cross-functional collaboration).
The role reports to the Managing Client Partner – Tech, Telecom & Media and does not currently have direct reports. Travel is required for in-person customer meetings and industry conferences, plus 2x annual all-team in-person company events. Ideal start date is February 1, 2027.
