The company pairs AI-native tooling with world-class researchers to deliver executive, decision-ready insights at scale. Knit recently closed Series B with $60M+ raised and operates with ~80 team members across US remote-friendly offices, with headquarters in NYC midtown.
The Client Partner – Retail, CPG & Pharma role is a strategic, consultative sales position focused on driving growth in Knit's Retail, CPG, and Pharma vertical. You will own a portfolio of 10–20 enterprise accounts (mix of existing and new) with the mandate to retain, grow, and strategically expand them across brands, categories, and markets. These are large organizations with complex category, commercial, and regulatory considerations where insights teams drive decisions from shelf to patient.
Key responsibilities include: owning and growing an enterprise account portfolio; driving renewals and expansion to ensure partnerships grow in scope and value year-over-year; uncovering and pursuing new opportunities within existing and prospective accounts (identifying new business units, teams, and use cases such as shopper journey, packaging testing, assortment strategy, innovation pipelines, brand positioning, and patient/HCP research); acting as a strategic advisor to senior Consumer & Shopper Insights, Category Management, Brand, Commercial Insights, and Market Research leaders; developing and executing account plans that identify whitespace and drive revenue growth; leading commercial negotiations for renewals, upsells, and cross-sells; collaborating deeply with Customer Success, Research, and Product teams to ensure clients realize full value; representing Knit externally at industry conferences and client summits; and maintaining high standards for pipeline integrity, forecasting accuracy, and documentation.
Success is measured by net-new revenue, net revenue retention (NRR) through account expansion, renewal rate, and sales excellence in account planning and forecasting.
The role reports to the Managing Client Partner – Retail, CPG & Pharma and currently has no direct reports. Travel is required for in-person customer meetings and industry conferences, plus 2x annual all-team in-person company events. Ideal start date is February 1, 2027.
