Zelis is modernizing the healthcare financial experience across payers, providers, and healthcare consumers, serving over 750 payers including the top five national health plans and millions of providers and consumers. As a Client Solutions Consultant, you will serve as the primary client-facing strategic advisor for a portfolio of small to medium-sized accounts post-implementation. You'll act as the subject matter expert for designated business units, driving product utilization, adoption, and growth while ensuring high client engagement and satisfaction.
Key responsibilities include:
**Client Engagement & Relationship Management:** Serve as the trusted advisor and primary contact for client interactions, coordinating with internal stakeholders to respond to requests. Manage client expectations, handle escalations, monitor progress toward established goals, and maintain CRM/JIRA records. Collaborate across teams to deliver high-quality service and positive client experiences.
**Product Utilization & Value Demonstration:** Connect client business needs to Zelis solutions using data-driven insights to drive adoption and growth. Proactively identify optimization opportunities, cross-selling potential, and revenue growth initiatives. Lead business reviews, deliver product insights and performance recommendations, and present analytics-backed value demonstrations.
**Strategic Account Planning:** Partner with Strategic Client Executives to deliver seamless experiences and execute account strategies. Identify and support new business opportunities through upselling and cross-selling, transitioning qualified leads to Sales. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Product, Client Services, Implementation) on client commitments.
**Performance & Risk Management:** Monitor revenue and performance metrics against benchmarks, investigate underperformance, and develop recovery plans. Ensure SLA adherence, assess solution-specific risks, and manage escalations.
Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field; 2+ years in client-facing roles. Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Suite. Preferred: experience in cost management, electronic payments, healthcare communications, provider network relations, and Salesforce.com. Strong understanding of client pain points, healthcare industry trends, and competitive landscape. Excellent project management, communication, and relationship-building skills.
