Abacus Insights is a healthcare data platform backed by $100M in funding, transforming how health plans use data to improve outcomes and reduce costs. The company helps health plans break down data silos to create a unified, trusted data foundation that powers better decisions for care and cost management.
As a Solution Architect, you will be a trusted customer advocate responsible for designing and implementing scalable cloud architectures that solve healthcare payer challenges. You'll work with health plans to adopt Abacus' core data management offerings, with a primary focus on CMS Interoperability solutions, claims processing (medical, vision, prescription), clinical informatics, and provider system integration.
Your responsibilities include:
- Authoring detailed architecture design documents including data flows, sequence diagrams, and system architecture to guide technical implementation
- Partnering with business and IT teams to understand current capabilities and define desired-state technology strategy roadmaps
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams (business experts, technical analysts, project managers, sales, data engineers) to successfully implement client projects
- Working with Product Management to identify client requirements that may become standard product features
- Defining solution architecture visions for designated components, balancing long-term goals with near-term client needs
- Mentoring internal teams on business needs and use cases, providing ongoing implementation support
