Quindar builds modern, cloud-native satellite mission operations software designed to operate satellites like servers. The company replaces fragmented, legacy ground systems with an integrated, automation-driven platform that brings modern software velocity to space operations.
You will be responsible for building, securing, accrediting, and operating the IT backbone of classified operational environments supporting U.S. government mission partners. This is a hands-on technical role that directly enables Quindar's classified mission execution.
Key responsibilities include:
- Installing and maintaining CWAN, DISN, SIPR, and/or JWICS networks
- Deploying classified-compliant workstations and peripherals
- Supporting all end-user systems in coordination with the ISSM and Facility Security Officer
- Ensuring employees have fast, reliable, secure access to required tools
- Building scalable, well-documented, and easy-to-operate corporate IT systems
- Maintaining consistent endpoint configuration, patching, and security
- Minimizing downtime and responding quickly to IT issues
- Balancing strong security with developer velocity
- Establishing trust across engineering, operations, and leadership

REQUIREMENTS:
Required:
- 5+ years supporting corporate or enterprise IT environments
- Strong experience with endpoint management (macOS, Windows, Linux)
- Hands-on experience with identity and access management (SSO, MFA, RBAC)
- Experience administering internal networks, VPNs, Wi-Fi, and office infrastructure
- Strong understanding of security best practices for corporate IT environments
- Ability to operate in a fast-moving startup environment with minimal process overhead
- Comfortable owning systems end-to-end with high reliability expectations
- U.S. citizenship or eligible immigration status (ITAR requirement)
Preferred:
- Experience with MDM platforms (e.g., Jamf, Intune, Kandji)
- Familiarity with cloud-based IT tooling (Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, Atlassian, etc.)
- Experience supporting distributed or hybrid teams
- Exposure to compliance-driven environments (SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP-adjacent workflows)
- Scripting or automation experience to streamline IT operations
- Ability to obtain or currently hold a U.S. Government SECRET clearance
- Experience supporting or setting up IT systems in classified or controlled-access environments
