Salary: USD 225,000 - 280,000 / annual
Bluestone Physician Services is seeking a Chief Strategy Officer to serve as the executive integrator and strategic growth engine for the organization. Reporting directly to the CEO, the CSO will bridge long-term corporate vision with near-term operational execution, closing the 2–6 quarter planning gap and managing cross-functional capacity to drive sustainable top-line expansion.
Key responsibilities include owning macro strategic planning and mid-term roadmap governance; translating multi-year vision into disciplined 2–6 quarter operational planning cycles; maintaining master development roadmaps for core business assets (Bridge platform, AI/automation initiatives, care model enhancements); and partnering with Finance to build business cases and capital allocation frameworks for major strategic investments.
The CSO will institutionalize continuous feedback loops across senior living operators, clinicians, and patients to ensure market needs inform the strategic roadmap, while monitoring market dynamics, competitor positioning, and regulatory shifts. The role includes leading the launch and early-stage incubation of new lines of business and service capabilities, directing post-merger integration processes for acquired entities, and designing operational handoff protocols to transfer stabilized initiatives to long-term operational owners.
Additionally, the CSO will serve as executive lead for sell-side readiness, working with the CEO and CFO to shape the enterprise growth story and strategic positioning for future liquidity events or recapitalizations. This includes directing market and competitive intelligence to support corporate development, leading M&A diligence, and managing management presentation prep and strategic diligence workstreams during fundraising or transaction processes.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 10+ years of senior executive experience in healthcare strategy, corporate development, management consulting, or strategic operations within high-growth, PE-backed platforms
- Proven track record of designing mid-term strategic planning frameworks, managing complex cross-functional roadmaps, and executing operational handoffs
- Hands-on experience incubating new healthcare service lines, leading M&A integrations, and participating directly in sell-side M&A or PE recapitalization processes
- Demonstrated success connecting organizational design and HR strategy directly to business performance and enterprise valuation
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related field required; Master's degree (MBA or MHA) strongly preferred
