Revolut is seeking a Chief Risk Officer to lead risk management across the organization's operations in Singapore and the broader region. This is a strategic C-suite role responsible for identifying and assessing risks across new products, business relationships, and expansions including partnerships and acquisitions. You will partner with senior management to provide assurance on operational risks, monitor key risk indicators, and build relationships with regulators.
Key responsibilities include leading the local Risk team and coaching team members, developing and monitoring local risk registers with embedded controls, providing early guidance on regulatory changes, and supporting strategy implementation. You'll adapt group risk policies to local context, advise the Board on risk profile and risk management framework suitability, and manage outstanding risk issues from audits, reviews, and regulatory inspections. Additionally, you'll produce reports to support business growth, inform strategic decisions, and update regulators, while supporting the development and testing of business continuity plans.
The ideal candidate holds a degree in business, economics, finance, or a related field, with a proven track record in risk management within banking, fintech, or payments environments. You should have a technical background with solid analytical and problem-solving skills, strong organizational and communication abilities, and sharp attention to detail. Nice-to-have qualifications include a master's degree, familiarity with Singapore's business environment and regulatory landscape, experience building and scaling regional hub models, retail/corporate banking experience, SQL proficiency, and knowledge of credit and financial risk management.
