As Chief of Staff to the CEO, you will work directly with Tomer (CEO and Co-Founder) on the company's highest-priority initiatives. Your role is to increase the speed and effectiveness of the CEO and the organization around him by taking important cross-functional problems and driving them to completion.
Key responsibilities include:
- Work directly with the CEO on the company's most important priorities, translating broad goals into clear plans, decisions, owners, and next steps
- Own strategic and operating projects that cut across functions or lack a clear owner, from problem definition through execution
- Help run the company's operating rhythm by tracking priorities, surfacing issues early, and ensuring decisions translate to action
- Conduct deep dives into business areas needing attention, identify root causes, and build plans with leadership teams
- Support company planning and translate company-level goals into organizational priorities
- Lead analysis on major company decisions by gathering data, pressure-testing options, and developing recommendations
- Partner with leaders across research, engineering, product, data operations, go-to-market, finance, and people functions
- Support CEO-level work including board preparation, fundraising, executive hiring, and organizational planning
- Help allocate CEO time to highest-impact areas and take ownership of work that doesn't require CEO involvement
- Step into new initiatives requiring temporary ownership, build structure, and stay close until a permanent owner is identified
You'll work across every part of David AI with a front-row seat to building a fast-growing AI company. This is a high-ownership operating role for someone comfortable moving between strategy and execution in a fast-paced environment.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 6+ years of experience in high-ownership roles at a fast-growing technology company, startup, investment firm, consulting firm, or similar environment
- Prior experience owning complex work end-to-end with direct accountability for outcomes (not just advising or coordinating)
- Strong analytical judgment: ability to take ambiguous problems, identify what matters, get to relevant data quickly, and form clear points of view
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to make complicated topics simple and communicate clearly with executives and operators
- Experience working across multiple functions and driving work through people who do not report to you
- Comfort moving between high-level strategy and detailed execution, sometimes within the same day
- Relentless operator with high standards, bias to action, and strong attention to detail
- Comfortable with ambiguity and rapid pace; thrives in a "build while flying" environment
- Low-ego, collaborative, and mission-driven, focused on team and company success
BONUS QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience as a founder, early-stage operator, GM, or in strategy and operations at a high-growth startup
- Prior experience working closely with a founder or CEO
- Experience in AI, data infrastructure, marketplaces, or other technically complex businesses
- Experience with board preparation, fundraising, executive recruiting, or company-level planning
- Experience taking a new initiative from zero to one and eventually handing it to a dedicated owner
