Salary: USD 140,000 - 160,000 / annual

Swayable is a fast-growing AI and automated data science platform that measures public opinion and the impact of messages and advertising content. Founded in 2018 by physics PhDs and led by the former Executive Director for Digital Strategy at the New York Times, the company is backed by top technology and social impact investors including Y Combinator. With a 50-person team, Swayable serves major consumer brands (JP Morgan Chase, Airbnb, Paramount Pictures), technology companies (Anthropic, Meta, Amazon), academic researchers (MIT, Yale, Stanford), and civic advocacy campaigns focused on climate, human rights, and elections. As Chief of Staff, you will work closely with the CEO, Chief Growth Officer, Chief Revenue Officer, and Head of Finance to turn strategic priorities into results. You'll own cross-functional projects, executive deliverables, and the systems that keep the leadership team aligned and accountable. Key responsibilities include: driving strategic projects from conception through completion by translating executive priorities into clear work plans and coordinating stakeholders; maintaining visibility of company priorities, milestones, owners, and dependencies while proactively removing blockers; running the leadership operating cadence including meeting preparation, decision documentation, and quarterly planning; producing high-quality executive deliverables such as board decks and investor updates; identifying operational inefficiencies and building practical processes to improve communication and execution; leading special projects including investor diligence, strategic hiring, and partnerships; and strengthening company culture through all-hands meetings and team events. This role offers exposure to decisions across growth, revenue, finance, and company strategy, with meaningful responsibility from day one and room to expand scope over time. The position is based in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, with an in-office requirement of 3 days per week. Requirements: - 2-5 years of experience in management or strategy consulting with demonstrated success managing complex projects and delivering work for senior stakeholders - Structured thinking combined with hands-on execution capability - Highly organized and dependable with ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining high standards for accuracy and follow-through - Excellent writing and communication skills; ability to translate complex information into concise presentations and actionable plans - Comfort working with data, building analyses, and using spreadsheets and presentation tools - Ability to build trust across teams, exercise sound judgment with sensitive information, and drive progress - Ability to thrive in ambiguity, learn quickly, and take initiative - Enthusiasm for fast-paced startup environments and working closely with executive leadership
