Infisical is an open-source security infrastructure platform for secrets management, certificates, and privileged access management. The company has raised $19M from Y Combinator, Google, and Elad Gil, with customers including Hugging Face, OpenRouter, LG, and NVIDIA.
As Chief of Staff, you will work directly alongside co-founder and CEO Vlad to drive the company's most important priorities forward. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role spanning every part of the business—engineering, sales, marketing, and operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning the company's weekly operating cadence and organizing all-hands meetings
- Taking on special projects, research, and confidential tasks across the company
- Running analyses, data pulls, and scraping projects to answer business questions and inform strategic decisions
- Managing ad-hoc operational and urgent tasks: meeting prep, triaging priorities, drafting responses, and protecting focus time
- Exploring new technologies and products to identify emerging market opportunities for Infisical
- Running events end-to-end, from company offsites to internal and external dinners
- Managing the San Francisco office and supporting new office openings globally
- Building and improving company-wide processes using AI tools to increase efficiency
You will be instrumental in shaping how Infisical operates and scales, with a front-row seat to how a fast-growing company is built and run, and increasing ownership over strategic initiatives and company operations.
The team brings experience from Figma, AWS, and Red Hat. While primarily remote, the company maintains a strong presence in San Francisco and gathers in person throughout the year for offsites, conferences, and team gatherings.
Requirements:
- Technical depth to understand the product, with founder EQ to connect with engineers and makers
- Highly process-oriented; comfortable with coding and data scraping to improve workflows
- Self-motivated and driven with genuine passion for technology and startups
- Low ego, high ownership, strong attention to detail; comfortable with both ambitious goals and granular tasks
- Excellent judgment and discretion handling confidential information
- Excited to work on-site in the San Francisco office
Bonus qualifications:
- Experience supporting a founder or executive at an early-stage startup
- Background at a B2B SaaS or developer tools startup
- Consulting background with genuine interest in developer tools
- Experience planning events and offsites, running office operations, or building tech communities
