Salary: USD 300,000 - 375,000 / annual

DriveWealth is a global B2B fintech platform democratizing access to financial markets through an API-based infrastructure. The company enables partners to offer seamless investing and trading experiences worldwide, supporting US equities, mutual funds, ETFs, fixed income, and options trading. As Chief Information Security Officer, you will lead the entire security function across four strategic domains: Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), Offensive Security (Red Team), Defensive Security (Blue Team), and Security Engineering & Architecture. This is a C-suite role reporting to senior leadership and the board, responsible for building security strategy, managing budgets, and scaling teams to support the company's ambitious growth trajectory and path to public markets. Key responsibilities include: - Overseeing policy frameworks and regulatory compliance programs (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, FINRA) - Enhancing security monitoring, incident response, and threat hunting capabilities - Directing penetration testing and vendor management activities - Leading the engineering of secure cloud-native and zero-trust security architectures - Building, mentoring, and expanding a skilled security team, particularly in GRC and Blue Team functions - Engaging with industry forums and presenting security strategy to executive and board-level stakeholders - Driving readiness for IPO and supporting ongoing business growth You will need strong experience in regulated industries (fintech preferred), deep knowledge of cloud-first and zero-trust security models, and a proven track record building full-scale security programs for public or pre-IPO companies. Expertise in standards compliance, board-level communication, and budget/vendor management in dynamic environments is essential. The role is hybrid based in New York with an expectation to work in office on a cadence set by leadership.
