FalconX Bravo, Inc. is a registered Swap Dealer seeking an experienced Chief Compliance Officer to lead the compliance function. This role reports to senior management and the Board of Directors, overseeing all aspects of the Swap Dealer Compliance Program under CFTC, NFA, and Federal Reserve Board regulations.
Key responsibilities include: advising on and implementing enhancements to the Swap Dealer Compliance Program; managing policies, procedures, and controls; responding to regulatory inquiries, audits, and examinations from the CFTC and NFA; managing non-compliance incidents and remediation; developing and conducting periodic testing of internal controls; creating and delivering swap dealer compliance training to relevant personnel; managing conflicts of interest; and providing regular reporting to management and the Board.
The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of legal or compliance experience, preferably from an investment or commercial bank, law firm, consulting firm, or regulatory organization. Demonstrated experience implementing and executing a swap dealer compliance program at a registered swap dealer is essential. Strong understanding of the Dodd-Frank Act and associated swap dealer regulations is required, along with direct experience interacting with the CFTC, NFA, and FRB. Familiarity with OTC derivatives trading, particularly foreign exchange and interest rate derivatives, is important. The role requires managing teams across geographical regions, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple complex projects simultaneously. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in compliance, legal, or control functions in financial services is required.
