ButterflyMX is seeking a Channel Territory Manager to own and grow the company's integrator and reseller partner network across the Western territory. This is a quota-carrying revenue role focused on channel sales and partner management, not direct end-customer sales. The CTM will quarterback the entire partner lifecycle: identifying and signing target integrators (particularly Tier 1 partners not yet in the program), moving existing partners up the Bronze/Silver/Gold tier ladder, and developing commercial vertical opportunities. The role requires deep fluency in partner economics—P&L, truck rolls, RMR, labor margin, and install economics—and the ability to speak the language of integrators and resellers. Key responsibilities include owning partner relationships across all tiers, running three core motions (whale hunting for large integrators, tier progression activation, and commercial vertical development), identifying target partners using project intelligence tools like ConstructConnect, building joint business plans with Gold and Silver partners, conducting quarterly business reviews that focus on unit economics and software margin trajectory, partnering with internal account executives on co-sell opportunities, and maintaining accurate records and pipeline discipline in Salesforce. The ideal candidate brings existing integrator relationships in the West Coast territory, a consultative relationship-first sales approach comfortable with multi-quarter development cycles, strong Salesforce and CRM discipline with attribution rigor, and exposure to commercial verticals (small office, retail, mixed-use, boutique hospitality). Prior experience as a vendor-side regional sales manager with deep integrator relationships, former AE at a security or access control OEM, or partner-facing roles in adjacent categories are strong fits. Required: 3+ years in quota-carrying channel sales, partner management, or business development (security, access control, video surveillance, low-voltage, or IT VAR experience preferred); proven track record building and growing partner relationships across tiers; comfort engaging at all organizational levels (owner to install tech to CFO); Salesforce, Excel, and standard business software fluency; ability to work independently and operate against quarterly milestones; strong written and verbal communication; willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time in-territory. ButterflyMX's platform automates property access, operations, and security for multifamily, commercial, gated communities, and student housing properties worldwide. The company operates as a distributed, primarily remote workforce with a culture emphasizing collaboration, innovation, and customer delight.
