Rubrik is seeking a Channel Development Manager to build and manage relationships with regional and national channel partners across the US Central / TOLA region. This role sits at the intersection of sales, marketing, and partner enablement, requiring you to drive channel business growth through strategic partner planning, enablement, and sales acceleration.
Day-to-day responsibilities include: growing channel revenue and partner-initiated deals; managing existing distribution and regional channel partners to expand market and vertical coverage; arranging account mappings and partner meetings to qualify opportunities and proof-of-concepts; conducting enablement sessions to train partner field sales and systems engineering teams; and building strong relationships with key decision-makers at partner organizations to establish strategic partnerships.
You will collaborate closely with Rubrik's Field Sales, Systems Engineering, Channel Marketing, Field Marketing, Alliances, and Sales Operations teams to leverage resources and achieve sales performance goals.
Ideal candidates bring experience working with regional channel partners or distributors; expertise in data management, data protection, and storage markets; proven success in quarterly and yearly sales planning; ability to implement and coordinate marketing programs; track record of identifying and acquiring new partners; experience running sales trainings and hosting reseller/end-customer events; and familiarity with competitive solutions in backup and recovery. Knowledge of vendors like CrowdStrike, Zscaler, Pure Storage, and Nutanix is valued. You should be comfortable with forecasting, reporting, and executing channel programs while maintaining strong team collaboration.
