The Channel and Customer Research (CCR) team delivers scalable primary research through structured interviews with channel partners, distributors, resellers, suppliers, and consultants. Using AlphaSense's AI Interviewer technology, CCR conducts and scales expert interviews continuously across hundreds of companies and major sectors, providing investors and corporate users with real-time insights into demand trends, competitive dynamics, and market conditions.
As Sector Lead for Financial Services, you will build and maintain CCR's channel research coverage across banking, insurance, and fintech. Reporting to the Head of Channel & Customer Research, you will oversee the development and execution of CCR projects, ensuring questionnaires, expert sourcebases, and research outputs meet firm standards for quality, consistency, and end-user value.
You will lead a team of analysts conducting structured channel checks across diverse financial services companies and value chains—including brokers, agents, lenders, payment processors, and technology vendors. Your responsibilities include developing coverage roadmaps, designing channel check frameworks, maintaining domain expertise in financial services business models and distribution channels, collaborating with operations teams on project execution, and identifying new companies and sub-sectors for expansion.
You will serve as the connective layer between research strategy and day-to-day execution, acting as the primary domain expert for Financial Services and helping refine research frameworks while partnering with cross-functional teams to strengthen CCR's coverage and ensure consistent delivery of high-quality research.
