Honeydew is building a digital-first dermatology platform that connects patients with licensed specialists and FDA-approved treatments in 24 hours—versus the industry average of 6 months. The company's mission is to ensure no one suffers from treatable skin disease due to access barriers.
As a Care Coordinator, you'll be the primary written voice guiding patients through their treatment journey. This is a full-time, fully remote role (40 hours/week, 5 days/week, within 9 AM–7 PM ET) where you'll manage a patient caseload almost entirely through in-app chat messaging.
Your responsibilities include:
- Managing patient caseloads via app chat with clear, warm, professional written communication (99% of patient interaction)
- Owning response times and quality metrics, consistently meeting SLAs (4-hour response window during scheduled hours)
- Anticipating patient questions and resolving issues efficiently in as few touchpoints as possible
- Coordinating with pharmacies and labs by phone to troubleshoot prescription, insurance, and delivery issues
- Connecting with dermatology providers to keep care plans on track
- Maintaining meticulous health records
- Monitoring patient progress and celebrating wins along their journey
- Sharing feedback on workflows and patient trends to improve care delivery
You'll thrive in this role if you're energized by clear goals and metrics, comfortable with ambiguity, genuinely empathetic to frustrated patients, and proactive about solving problems. You believe healthcare should be accessible to everyone.
