You will join Sierra's pricing team as a Business Value Strategist, partnering with sales and customers throughout complex enterprise sales cycles. Your core responsibilities include: - Developing customer-specific value frameworks that translate Sierra's impact into measurable business outcomes - Building rigorous ROI models and investment cases grounded in operating and financial metrics - Quantifying impact across key dimensions: lower operating costs, incremental revenue, and stronger customer loyalty - Creating and scaling repeatable, industry-specific business cases - Establishing Sierra's business value framework from the ground up while remaining hands-on in modeling and analysis - Engaging senior decision-makers and supporting complex enterprise sales cycles - Partnering effectively with sales teams and customer stakeholders across finance, operations, and executive leadership This is a high-impact role at a well-funded, fast-growing AI company with exceptional founding leadership (Bret Taylor, former Salesforce co-CEO and OpenAI Board Chair; Clay Bavor, former Google Labs lead). You'll be instrumental in building a new function from scratch and scaling it across the organization. REQUIREMENTS: - 5+ years of experience in value engineering, monetization strategy, consulting, strategic finance, or similar role focused on quantifying and communicating business impact - Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills with a track record of building rigorous ROI models and investment cases - Experience supporting complex enterprise sales cycles and engaging senior decision-makers - Ability to partner effectively with sales teams and customer stakeholders across finance, operations, and executive leadership - Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field, or equivalent professional experience PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Experience building and scaling a business value methodology, program, or center of excellence from the ground up - Familiarity with AI, conversational AI, or customer service operations - Previous experience in a zero-to-one startup or fast-paced, high-growth environment
