Vensure Employer Solutions, the largest privately held HR technology and services organization, is seeking a Business Sales Consultant to drive new business growth for its Professional Employer Organization (PEO) solutions. You will own the complete sales cycle—from prospecting and discovery through proposal, negotiation, and close—for co-employment, payroll administration, HR support, employee benefits, workers' compensation, risk management, and compliance solutions. Key responsibilities include: • Proactively generate new business opportunities within your assigned territory through cold calling, networking, email outreach, social selling, and partner referrals. • Build and maintain relationships with brokers, channel partners, and centers of influence to develop a sustainable pipeline. • Conduct discovery meetings to understand client workforce challenges, payroll/HR processes, benefits structures, and decision criteria. • Present tailored PEO solutions that address client needs, clearly communicating the value of the co-employment model and total workforce management approach. • Prepare proposals, executive summaries, pricing options, and client presentations. • Negotiate pricing, service scope, client agreements, and implementation timelines with leadership and internal stakeholders. • Manage the full sales cycle, coordinating with implementation, payroll, benefits, HR, compliance, and operations teams to ensure smooth transitions. • Maintain accurate pipeline documentation and forecasts in Salesforce or similar CRM systems; consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals. • Stay informed of PEO industry trends, employment compliance developments, workers' compensation and benefits market conditions, and competitor offerings. • Mentor less tenured sales representatives, providing guidance on sales processes, prospecting strategies, and customer relationship management. • Participate in recruitment activities for prospective sales team members. • Frequent domestic travel required for team meetings, client visits, industry conferences, and training sessions. This role offers the opportunity to work with a market-leading organization serving over 95,000 businesses and processing $135B in annual payroll. You'll develop deep expertise in workforce solutions while building a strong professional network across the PEO and HR services ecosystem. Requirements: • High School Diploma or equivalent; combination of experience, skills, education (including non-traditional degree programs, certifications, or job training) is acceptable. • More than 2 years of PEO sales experience required in a results-driven environment. • Experience managing a sales pipeline, prospecting, client presentations, and meeting sales goals preferred. • Prior sales experience with payroll, HCM/HR technology, or benefits preferred. • Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce or similar) preferred. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint). • Valid, non-restrictive driver's license required due to regular travel to client sites and company locations.
