The Business Risk Manager will be part of Revolut's risk function, which operates across all business functions, products, and regions to monitor performance and ensure safe operations. This role sits at the intersection of strategy and compliance, engaging early in new initiatives from product launches to customer support enhancements.
You will develop sustainable growth strategies aligned with operational risk frameworks and elevate risk management procedures across the organization. Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying, assessing, documenting, and reviewing risks across business lines
- Designing, implementing, and testing controls to mitigate identified risks
- Developing and testing key procedures and operational workflows
- Creating and reviewing key risk indicators (KRIs) to monitor business health
- Registering risk events and managing risk incident reporting
This is a hands-on role requiring both analytical rigor and practical execution. You'll work with complex data, translate regulatory requirements into operational reality, and help shape how Revolut manages risk as it scales globally.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 6+ years of experience in risk management within banking, financial services, or a regulated entity
- Demonstrated experience with risk identification, monitoring, and controls (both implementation and testing)
- Proven ability to interpret and organize complex data in practical contexts
- Ability to quickly assume new responsibilities and manage competing priorities
- Organized, methodological approach to problem-solving
- Nice to have: familiarity with auditing processes and controls
