As a Business Intelligence Engineer supporting Global Operations, you will design, build, and deploy custom internal applications, automated workflows, and robust ETL pipelines that power day-to-day business execution. This role bridges software engineering, data architecture, and business operations—moving beyond traditional analytics to create functional, data-driven solutions.
Key responsibilities include: building interactive internal applications and automations using Retool, Vercel, and custom web development; designing and optimizing complex SQL queries and ETL pipelines; creating intuitive UI/UX workflows that reduce manual effort; implementing strict version control and CI/CD practices; managing database and schema design with advanced principles; developing automated scripts, webhooks, and API integrations; and acting as a technical liaison between operations, product, and data engineering teams.
You will need a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field, plus 3+ years of professional experience in Software Engineering (with analytics focus), Analytics Engineering, or Technical Operations. Advanced SQL and relational database architecture proficiency is required, along with strong programming skills in JavaScript and Python. Hands-on Git and CI/CD experience is mandatory. Experience with Retool, Vercel, or similar internal tool builders is highly advantageous. You should be a systems-level thinker with meticulous attention to data accuracy, clean code, and documentation. Excellent communication skills bridging technical execution and business strategy, self-motivation, and adaptability in fast-paced environments are essential.
