Cape is America's privacy-first mobile carrier founded in 2022, having just closed a Series C in March 2026. The company is building its own network infrastructure from the ground up to deliver privacy and security features unavailable from legacy carriers, serving consumers, businesses, and government agencies. You will serve as the analytical engine driving Cape's consumer business strategy. This role pairs rigorous market research with sharp business intelligence to inform critical decisions around customer needs, pricing, and financial planning. You'll report to the Head of Consumer Growth and work cross-functionally with engineers, architects, and leadership to translate data into actionable recommendations. Key responsibilities include: - Defining and developing business-unit metrics and dashboards that quantify business health, including implementation and optimization of internal tracking systems. - Conducting both quantitative and qualitative analysis to deliver strategic insights on willingness-to-pay, feature trade-offs, plan structure, and tiering optimization. - Building financial models and projections with well-founded assumptions, modeling ROI of investment decisions, and tracking progress against goals. - Designing studies and surveys to surface the "why" behind customer behavior. - Presenting findings and recommendations to senior leadership, fielding challenges, and incorporating feedback. You bring 4+ years of experience in consulting, banking, investing, business intelligence, or market research. You have strong analytical aptitude, comfort with Excel and SQL, and experience with statistical tools and methodologically sound survey design. Prior experience with brand surveys and creative testing is a plus. You're fluent with AI tools for data work and have the judgment to validate outputs. You're a structured, logical thinker who gets up to speed quickly on new industries and products. You're self-driven and proactive, requiring minimal direction to execute. Cape operates with a flat structure emphasizing high trust, high expectations, and collaboration. The company offers top-tier healthcare, 401(k) matching, and a generous vacation policy.
