Thunes is a global payments infrastructure company operating a Direct Global Network that enables real-time money movement across 140+ countries and 90+ currencies. The network connects to over 12 billion mobile wallets and bank accounts via 350+ payment methods, serving clients like Uber, Deliveroo, Grab, and WeChat. As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be a product-minded data professional responsible for translating complex data into actionable insights that drive decision-making across the organization. You'll partner with stakeholders across product, operations, finance, and other functions to understand their reporting and analytical needs, then design and build solutions that improve productivity, business performance, and customer experience. Key responsibilities include: partnering with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analysis needs; building deep knowledge of key business processes, product flows, and operational metrics; designing, developing, and maintaining production-grade dashboards and reports using Tableau; writing production-level SQL and Python for analytics and data transformation; collaborating with data engineering teams to ensure data reliability and quality; contributing to analytical best practices and reporting standards; and managing competing priorities aligned with team and company direction. You will need a bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or similar) and 2-5 years of hands-on experience in data, BI, or analytics roles. Strong technical skills are essential: production-level SQL, Python for analysis and data processing, and expert-level Tableau proficiency including dashboard development, data source design, performance optimization, and Tableau Online administration. You should demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, the capacity to work with complex datasets, excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences, and meticulous attention to data quality and accuracy. Preferred experience includes fintech, payments, or financial services backgrounds; supporting multiple business functions; strong stakeholder management; demonstrated business curiosity; and a strong sense of ownership in delivering end-to-end solutions.
