Carrot Fertility is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join its BI function as it scales. You will provide essential analytics support across the organization, gathering requirements, fielding ad hoc and recurring data requests, and building reporting dashboards that leaders rely on for decision-making. In this role, you will design and build data models in SQL with a focus on correctness, clarity, and reusability. You'll build and maintain dashboards and reports that track key business metrics and inform decision-making across the company. You'll conduct ad hoc analyses to answer high-priority business questions from stakeholders, collaborate with teams across Carrot to understand their data domains and reporting needs, and contribute to data quality, documentation, and self-service BI capabilities as the function scales. You will work hands-on with modern data tooling, including SQL, dbt, and enterprise BI platforms, and partner with teams across the business to translate their questions into clear, trustworthy answers. The BI team is highly cross-functional and sits alongside Data Engineering, providing a strong opportunity to sharpen technical skills while building broad business context in a mission-driven healthcare environment. In your first 12–18 months, you will deliver accurate, well-documented dashboards and reports that stakeholders trust and use regularly, fully ramp on Carrot's data stack and core data domains, build strong working relationships with cross-functional partners, and improve turnaround and consistency of reporting by creating reusable data models. You have a Bachelor's Degree and intermediate-to-advanced SQL experience with ability to write advanced queries using joins, CTEs, and window functions. You have experience with data visualization software (Tableau, Looker, DOMO, Power BI) and basic statistics proficiency in experiment design, hypothesis testing, and statistical significance. You can translate business intelligence needs into technical execution and clear presentation, with strong communication skills to explain complex technical information to non-technical audiences. Nice-to-have skills include dbt experience, healthcare industry data experience, high-growth environment background, Git familiarity, and understanding of data modeling strategies.
