Salary: EUR 58,100 - 83,000 / annual

Docker is seeking a Business Development Representative for the EMEA region to drive lead qualification and pipeline generation for commercial and enterprise accounts. You will be a self-starter responsible for prospecting existing Docker users who show propensity to acquire commercial licenses, identifying customer needs and challenges, qualifying inbound inquiries, and scheduling discovery meetings for the sales team. You will achieve target metrics for qualified prospects and new opportunities while maintaining high-quality customer touchpoints and gathering feedback to share with cross-functional teams. Docker is a globally distributed, remote-first company trusted by 20+ million monthly users. The company provides essential developer tools including Docker Desktop, Docker Hub, and Docker Scout, and is positioned at the center of AI-driven software development by providing sandboxed environments, verified images, and secure infrastructure for autonomous workflows. In your first 30 days, you will complete onboarding with equipment setup and training on sales tools (Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Common Room, Outreach, Sales Navigator). You will learn core SDR functions including prospecting, lead qualification, appointment setting, and pipeline management while shadowing peers and your manager. By day 30, you will have proficiency with tools and core activities. In your first 60 days, you will focus on company research, identify target accounts and decision-makers in your territory, build prospecting lists, and reach out via cold calls, email, chat, and social media. You will develop in-depth product knowledge and maintain adherence to team KPI metrics and prospecting standards. By day 90, you will operate independently at full speed, confidently qualifying leads and optimizing messaging and processes. The role is remote-first with optional office access in Seattle and Paris. Docker does not offer visa sponsorship for this position. QUALIFICATIONS: - Proficiency in English; German, French, or Spanish is a bonus - 1+ years of work experience in a Sales role - Demonstrated track record of success - Proactive and driven mindset - Excellent phone, writing, and listening skills - Willingness to gain strong understanding of industry and Docker's use cases and value propositions - High integrity and team-first mentality - Detail-oriented with strong work ethic - 4-year college degree or equivalent experience preferred
