Salary: EUR 58,100 - 83,000 / annual

Docker is seeking a Business Development Representative to drive growth in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). You will identify and qualify leads among existing Docker users who show propensity to purchase commercial licenses, schedule discovery meetings with sales representatives, and build a pipeline of qualified opportunities. Key responsibilities include prospecting outreach to existing Docker users, identifying customer needs and challenges, qualifying incoming inquiries, scheduling meetings between prospects and sales teams, achieving target metrics for qualified prospects, and providing excellent first impressions at every customer touchpoint. You will also partner with cross-functional teams to share customer feedback and engage in team development and mentoring activities. Docker is a globally distributed, remote-first company with 20+ million monthly users and 20+ billion container image pulls. The company provides essential developer tools including Docker Desktop, Docker Hub, and Docker Scout. As AI agents reshape software development, Docker is positioned at the center of this shift, providing sandboxed environments, verified images, and secure infrastructure for trustworthy autonomous workflows. You will have access to industry-leading sales tools including Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Common Room, Outreach, and Sales Navigator. The first 30 days focus on onboarding and learning core SDR functions. By day 60, you'll be conducting independent prospecting and building target account lists. By day 90, you'll operate at full speed with confidence in your craft. The role is fully remote within the EU, with optional access to offices in Seattle and Paris for collaboration. REQUIREMENTS: - Fluency in German and English (required); French or Spanish is a bonus - 1+ years of work experience in a Sales role - Demonstrated track record of success in sales - Proactive and self-driven mindset - Excellent phone, writing, and listening skills - Willingness to develop strong understanding of industry and Docker's use cases and value propositions - High integrity and team-first mentality - Detail-oriented with strong work ethic - 4-year college degree or equivalent experience preferred Note: Docker does not offer visa sponsorship for this role.
