Salary: USD 65,000 - 90,000 / annual
TaxBit is an AI-enabled tax compliance platform founded by CPAs, tax attorneys, and engineers, automating global tax reporting for the digital economy. The company serves leading fintechs, marketplaces, digital asset platforms, Big 4 accounting firms, and government agencies across offices in San Francisco, New York, Seattle, Salt Lake City, London, Madrid, and Singapore.
As a Business Development Representative, you will drive pipeline generation through outbound prospecting across global segments. This role is critical to TaxBit's growth as tax information reporting requirements expand across jurisdictions and customer segments worldwide.
Key responsibilities include:
- Execute targeted outbound prospecting via email, phone, and social channels across prioritized accounts
- Research target accounts to understand business models, tax reporting obligations, and regulatory triggers
- Identify and conduct multi-threaded outreach to key stakeholders across tax, finance, and product teams
- Partner closely with Account Executives to build and progress pipeline
- Qualify inbound leads and convert them into sales opportunities
- Schedule and coordinate qualified meetings and handoffs to Account Executives
- Maintain accurate activity and pipeline data in HubSpot
- Collaborate with Marketing and Partnerships on campaigns and partner-driven leads
- Refine messaging and outreach strategies based on performance feedback
- Develop foundational understanding of TaxBit's platform and global tax compliance requirements
You should have 2+ years of enterprise B2B SaaS sales or business development experience, with background in fintech, crypto, payments, marketplaces, or regulated SaaS preferred. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, comfort in fast-paced global markets, high curiosity, strong organizational skills, and a collaborative mindset are essential.
