Salary: USD 70,000 - 95,000 / annual

Parabola is a workflow automation platform that helps teams organize, transform, and automate data from any source—PDFs, emails, spreadsheets—without requiring engineering support. Used by fast-growing companies like Brooklinen, On Running, and Flexport, Parabola enables operators to automate manual, data-heavy processes and reclaim hundreds of hours annually. As a Business Development Representative, you will be a core member of the BDR team responsible for sourcing and qualifying new customer opportunities and expanding within the existing user base. You will work on the front lines representing the Parabola brand, product, and customer base to drive revenue growth. Key responsibilities include: - Conducting strategic outbound prospecting across multiple channels (phone, email, LinkedIn, Loom, social media) to identify and engage ideal customer prospects - Making 50+ dials per day with a focus on genuine connection and value-add rather than volume - Learning customer pain points and connecting them to Parabola's capabilities, particularly around manual, data-heavy operational processes - Qualifying leads and setting up meetings for Account Executives - Nurturing leads post-meeting to improve attendance rates - Mastering the product, buyer personas, Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), and customer journey to add value and excel in the role - Testing new messaging, industries, and use cases through creative experiments - Codifying successful approaches and sharing learnings with the broader team - Leveraging a modern tech stack including Outreach.io, Clay, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo.io, 6Sense, Attention, Salesforce, and HubSpot You will be based in either the NYC or SF office and expected to commute 3-4 days per week. Requirements: - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly the ability to capture attention and interest from busy professionals - High resilience and ability to handle rejection without taking it personally - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Genuine excitement about receiving feedback and seeking coaching to improve performance - Comfort with a fast-paced, high-growth environment - Technology savvy with ability to learn and master new tools quickly - Resourcefulness, resilience, and collaborative team mindset - Willingness to commute to NYC or SF office 3-4 times per week
