Dust is hiring its first dedicated Business Development Representative for the UK market. This is a net-new role with real ownership over an emerging market. You'll build and own early-stage pipeline from day one, running high-volume outbound across email, LinkedIn, and cold calling targeting UK enterprise buyers. Key responsibilities include: - Running high-volume, high-quality outbound campaigns targeting UK enterprise buyers, writing copy, testing angles, and iterating on sequences to improve response rates. Target: 30+ meetings booked per month. - Representing Dust at UK-based events, converting conversations into pipeline, and owning rapid follow-up to ensure no leads go cold. - Partnering with Account Executives on warm conversations that need a nudge, helping keep deals moving in early stages without taking over the sales cycle. - Developing genuine fluency in Dust's product and how it maps to UK buyer problems, staying close to the UK AI and enterprise software landscape. - Building a BDR playbook from scratch, tracking metrics (pipeline velocity, conversion rates, outreach quality), and using AI tools to research accounts and personalize at scale. Dust is an enterprise AI platform backed by Sequoia, serving customers like Datadog, 1Password, Cursor, Clay, Vanta, and Persona. The company has 70%+ weekly active users and is aiming to 5x growth by end of 2026. The team includes alumni from Stripe, OpenAI, and Stanford, and the company was named among The Generalist's Future 50. The company operates with an office-first culture across Paris, London, San Francisco, and New York, valuing in-person collaboration while trusting strong judgment on flexible work arrangements. REQUIREMENTS: Aptitude: - Prior BDR experience with proven record of booking meetings through outbound (cold calling, email sequencing, LinkedIn) - Ability to hold sharp, credible conversations with senior buyers that earn AE meetings - Self-directed in managing and improving own metrics (pipeline velocity, conversion rates, outreach quality) - Genuine fluency in AI tools for account research, personalization at scale, and workflow optimization - Strong understanding of UK enterprise software landscape, including who to target and what they care about Attitude: - Resilient; treats rejection as information, not discouragement - Collaborative with AEs and wider team without dependency on them for pipeline generation - Gives and receives direct feedback; honest about what's working - Scrappy; finds solutions when playbook doesn't exist - Shows up prepared, energized, and ready to represent Dust well Agency: - Takes ownership of UK market from day one without waiting for territory or sequence to be handed over - Demonstrates AE-track mindset; understands full sales motion and thinks beyond the meeting - Iterates on messaging independently; tests, analyzes, and improves without being asked - Spots gaps in coverage and acts on them proactively - Treats 30 meetings/month as a floor, not a ceiling
