Cohere is a leading enterprise AI company building cutting-edge foundation models and end-to-end products for businesses. As a Business Development Representative based in Dubai, you will drive revenue growth by identifying, qualifying, and nurturing high-potential leads for Cohere's enterprise AI solutions across the MENA region and beyond.
You will serve as the first point of contact for prospects, understanding their business needs and aligning them with Cohere's products to solve complex challenges in natural language processing, AI integration, and scalable language models. Your responsibilities include proactively researching and identifying target accounts across industries such as finance, technology, manufacturing, healthcare, and public sector using LinkedIn Sales Navigator and CRM platforms.
Key responsibilities include conducting 40+ outbound calls and personalized emails daily to engage decision-makers (CTOs, CIOs, Business Unit leads), qualifying leads using the BANT framework, and documenting interactions in Salesforce to maintain a clean pipeline for the sales team. You will collaborate with marketing to refine messaging based on prospect feedback and contribute to improving campaign response rates. Additionally, you'll run independent sales cycles on smaller opportunities from introduction to close.
You should stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and Cohere's product roadmap to position solutions effectively. The role requires 2+ years of business development, sales, or related experience in SaaS or tech environments, with a proven track record of exceeding lead generation targets. Native or fluent Arabic language skills are required. Strong communication abilities, familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce, and experience in AI/ML or enterprise software sales are essential. Closing experience is advantageous, and a builder mindset is necessary as the role will evolve over time.
