Ceribell is a medical technology company transforming the diagnosis and management of serious neurological conditions through its novel point-of-care EEG platform. The Ceribell System is a rapid seizure detection technology deployed across hundreds of community hospitals, academic facilities, and major integrated delivery networks nationwide. We are seeking a driven, results-focused Business Development Representative to join our growing sales team. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in high-activity, outbound environments and are motivated by measurable performance and meaningful impact in healthcare. The BDR serves as the first point of contact for prospective customers, leveraging sales discipline or clinical insight to engage healthcare stakeholders, understand workflow challenges, and generate qualified pipeline for the field sales team. This is a high-visibility opportunity to build foundational MedTech sales skills within a fast-growing company, with a defined pathway toward future field-based medical device roles. Key responsibilities include: proactive outbound prospecting via cold calling, email, and social outreach to physicians, nurses, and hospital stakeholders; conducting account discovery to identify key decision-makers and clinical pain points; qualifying leads to assess fit and urgency; securing and coordinating high-quality introductory meetings for field sales partners; building and tracking opportunities through early sales funnel stages; maintaining accurate records in Salesforce; collaborating cross-functionally with Sales and Marketing; developing working knowledge of Ceribell's solutions; handling objections professionally; and managing territory priorities to maximize pipeline creation. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of sales development, outbound prospecting, cold calling, or customer-facing experience. Clinical professionals (nurses, EEG technologists) with prospecting experience are also welcome. Experience in acute care, ICU, ED, neuro, or hospital-based settings is a plus. You should be coachable, curious, results-driven, resilient, and comfortable with rejection. Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to build rapport quickly, and adaptability are essential. Technical proficiency with Salesforce, Excel, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and ZoomInfo is required.
