Salary: USD 60,000 - 110,000 / annual
Blockworks is an information platform at the center of the crypto industry, transforming raw data into actionable research and trusted insights. The company connects investors and businesses in onchain capital markets, providing data and software to fintechs, exchanges, banks, enterprises, and tech companies building in crypto.
You will be one of the first two Business Development Representatives hired to build and scale the outbound team. This is a fully outbound sales development role focused on prospecting, qualifying, and booking meetings for the sales team.
Key responsibilities:
- Execute outbound prospecting across all channels: email, phone, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, Telegram, and warm introductions
- Conduct cold calls and run initial qualification conversations independently
- Book qualified meetings for sellers with sufficient context to ensure they arrive prepared
- Leverage the company's DAS conference to generate qualified pipeline
- Document and systematize what works to build a scalable BDR process as a founding team member
You will work directly with sellers and leadership in a remote-first environment with an optional NYC office.
Compensation is performance-based: base salary of $60,000–$70,000 plus uncapped variable pay (OTE $90,000–$110,000) tied directly to qualified meetings booked and held.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Demonstrated ability to use AI strategically beyond email drafting
- Comfort with high-volume outbound prospecting
- Track record of cold email effectiveness and reply rates
- Executive-level phone communication skills
- Resilience to rejection
- Genuine interest in crypto (following the space independently)
- Ideally: prior experience carrying and hitting an outbound meeting quota
