Teya is a Series C fintech company building a financial platform for local businesses across Europe. The company focuses on providing simple tools, thoughtful design, and genuine human support to cafés, restaurants, salons, shops, and entrepreneurs—businesses that have traditionally been underserved by financial services.
You will join Teya's rapidly growing sales organization as a field-based sales professional covering the South East territory. This is a launchpad role designed for someone with hunger and coachability rather than an existing sales track record. Teya invests heavily in structured onboarding and hands-on coaching, hiring for potential and mindset rather than prior experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Proactively identify and engage prospective customers within your territory through outreach, networking, referrals, and face-to-face meetings
- Meet with business owners to understand their needs, challenges, and goals, and recommend relevant Teya products and solutions
- Learn and apply Teya's value-led sales methodology to win new business and achieve performance targets
- Develop positive, long-term customer relationships that support market penetration, growth, and retention
- Build strong product knowledge through structured training
- Share field insights to help improve products and customer experience
- Represent Teya as a credible, professional, and values-led ambassador within your territory
This is a fully field-based role requiring you to be located in the South East with a full UK driving licence.
Requirements:
- Competitive mindset and genuine desire to win
- Strong work ethic and high activity orientation
- Coachability and ability to take feedback and improve quickly
- Curiosity and learning agility
- Ambition and resilience; ability to treat setbacks as information
- Emotional intelligence and ability to read a room and build rapport
- Self-direction and proactive, self-driven mindset
- Confidence engaging with new people
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Collaborative, team-oriented approach
- Strong willingness to learn and continuously develop
- Fluency in English
