Harvey is an AI platform for legal and professional services, combining frontier agentic AI with enterprise-grade infrastructure and deep domain expertise. The company is at a strong inflection point with product-market fit and world-class investor backing.
The Business Development team leads Harvey's partnerships with cloud hyperscalers, frontier AI labs, inference providers, data suppliers, and the open source ecosystem. These are multi-dimensional relationships where partners are simultaneously suppliers, channels, and product enablers.
As a Business Development Manager on the Cloud & AI team, you will drive strategic partner initiatives and own tactical execution across multiple workstreams:
**Partner Relationship & Commercial Management:** Serve as the primary point of contact for cloud, frontier lab, and inference/data partners. Run regular partner business reviews and joint planning sessions with quarterly goal setting and executive involvement. Support commercial negotiations including business case development and deal structuring in collaboration with Finance, Product, and Research. Track partner activity, program performance, and provide stakeholder updates.
**Joint Go-to-Market & Co-Selling:** Drive partner-sourced and partner-influenced revenue through co-sell motions with select partners, including account mapping, deal registration, and pipeline reviews. Activate and operate Harvey's presence on commercial cloud marketplaces (listings, private offers, operational workflows). Support the sales team on partner-supported opportunities by connecting contacts, unlocking resources, and removing blockers. Build enablement materials for both internal and partner-facing audiences.
**Co-Development & Co-Marketing:** Coordinate joint technical programs between Harvey's Research/Product teams and partner counterparts. Support product launch co-announcements with aligned timing, messaging, and approvals. Launch joint marketing programs including case studies, webinars, events, and co-branded content. Maximize Harvey's standing in partner programs to unlock funding, technical resources, and GTM support.
**Building the Function:** Contribute to operational foundations including portfolio tracking, partner plans, pipeline reporting, and leadership reporting cadences. Develop repeatable processes and frameworks for partnership evaluation, launch, and review. Keep internal teams current on partner activity. Take on expanded scope as the partner portfolio grows.
This is a zero-to-one builder role on a team that will scale with the partner portfolio. Much of the work lacks a defined playbook; the ideal candidate brings structure to complex partnerships, moves fluidly between strategic and hands-on execution, and builds scalable programs.
**Requirements:**
- 5+ years of professional experience in partnerships, alliances, sales, business development, or corporate development, ideally at a high-growth company where partnership programs were in early stages
- Experience structuring or managing complex alliances/partnerships, including commercial negotiations
- Experience or knowledge of commercial marketplaces (listings, private offers, deal transaction mechanics)
- Track record of sourcing or influencing revenue through partner channels, with ownership of pipeline or revenue targets
- Experience across co-selling, co-marketing, and co-development with understanding of nuanced partner dynamics (suppliers, channels, product enablers)
- Understanding of the AI ecosystem: major cloud providers, frontier labs, model serving/pricing, and emerging players
- Strong program management skills: managing multiple workstreams, establishing clear owners/timelines, leading ideation through execution
- Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to synthesize complex information and communicate recommendations to executives
- Comfort with ambiguity and bias toward building when no existing process exists; ability to influence without authority across teams
