DinoAI is an AI-powered English-learning platform targeting overseas markets including the GCC region, Southeast Asia, and Japan/Korea. The company uses a subscription model and competes with global leaders like Duolingo and BuddyAI. This role focuses on building DinoAI's offline business development strategy and institutional partnerships in Hong Kong.
As Business Development Manager, you will own DinoAI's offline channel strategy and institutional partnerships across Hong Kong. You will identify and develop partnerships with schools, educational exhibitions, shopping malls/supermarkets, residential communities, parent and youth organizations, and local brands. Your responsibilities span the full partnership lifecycle: opportunity discovery, client outreach and visits, product demonstrations, proposal development, commercial negotiation, contract execution, and ongoing performance management.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing Hong Kong's comprehensive offline business development plan, mapping partnership opportunities across schools, exhibitions, malls, communities, parent organizations, and local brands
- Independently managing partner development from target identification through contract signing, including needs analysis, product demos, proposal creation, and negotiation
- Designing customized partnership models (product experience events, joint promotions, group subscriptions, revenue-share arrangements) based on partner user bases and scenarios
- Planning and executing school talks, product experience events, education fairs, parent-child events, and co-branded events with proper user onboarding, data tracking, and post-event analysis
- Coordinating partnership launches with internal teams (content, product, operations, tech) on localized materials, product configuration, event collateral, and data attribution
- Maintaining key partner relationships, driving renewals and expanded scope, and gathering market feedback on Hong Kong's education ecosystem and competitive landscape
This is a hands-on role requiring frequent client visits, offline event management, and weekend availability as needed. You will use CRM systems to manage the sales pipeline and leverage AI tools for client research, proposal creation, and partnership documentation.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 4+ years of local Hong Kong experience in business development, channel sales, institutional partnerships, or key accounts
- Experience in education, kids/family consumer goods, EdTech, internet products, or subscription products (preferred)
- Full business development capability: able to independently handle client development, product demos, partnership proposals, negotiation, and closing
- Familiarity with Hong Kong's education and offline partnership ecosystem
- Existing relationships/resources with schools, exhibitions, malls, communities, parent organizations, or local brands (preferred)
- Commercial and data awareness: able to evaluate channel cost, qualified leads, user conversion, and revenue metrics
- Cantonese as primary working language; English for business communication and materials; Mandarin for HQ collaboration
- Proficiency with CRM systems and AI tools for client research, proposal creation, and documentation
- Based in Hong Kong with ability to handle frequent client visits and offline events
