Atoms is building Physical AI—real-world robots for industries that move civilization forward, starting with food, mining, and transport. The company integrates hardware, software, AI, operations, and manufacturing to deploy intelligent systems into real environments at scale. This Business Development Associate role sits on the Heroes team, which focuses on mid-market restaurant brands (1–20 locations) with strong customer followings and expansion potential. You will own a geographic market end-to-end: identifying and researching target operators, building relationships, pitching Atoms' solutions (CloudKitchens, Otter, Picnic), and supporting deal closure. Key responsibilities include: **Prospecting & Pipeline Generation**: Research and identify high-potential restaurant brands using phone, email, LinkedIn, and in-person outreach. Attend industry events and dinners where operators gather. Build and maintain a healthy pipeline against clear targets. **Strategic Account Research**: Conduct deep dives into restaurant leadership, unit economics, expansion plans, and competitive positioning. Partner with Strategy and Analytics teams to craft data-driven pitches. Monitor industry trends and feed market insights back to leadership. **Sales Strategy & Collaboration**: Allocate budget for your market, own territory planning, and prioritize accounts. Collaborate cross-functionally with sales leadership. **Operational Excellence**: Use AI and automation to speed up research, outreach, and reporting. Test, measure, and improve prospecting methods continuously. **Executive Relationships**: Build trust-based relationships with restaurant founders and operators. Represent Atoms professionally and communicate pipeline updates and competitive intelligence clearly to leadership. You should have 1–4 years in Business Development, Investment Banking, Go-to-Market, Consulting, Strategy, or Operations. Track record of generating outbound pipelines in mid-market or small/independent-business segments is essential. Strong analytical and communication skills, comfort moving between founder kitchens and boardrooms, and high ownership mentality required.
