Ualá, a leading Latin American neobank with 11+ million users, is seeking a Business & Control Lead to drive business analysis and financial control for its Daily Banking division. You will manage commercial and contractual relationships with strategic vendors and partners, ensuring fulfillment of commercial commitments and business profitability.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead the development and periodic updates of business forecasts and budgets
- Analyze major variations in transaction volumes, revenues, and costs against budget; identify key drivers
- Consolidate and report P&L in collaboration with the FP&A team
- Lead negotiations and manage contracts with strategic business partners
- Coordinate with Legal on contract drafting, review, and execution
- Resolve contractual friction points and disputes with vendors
- Oversee billing controls and partner settlement processes
- Lead, prioritize, and develop the team of business analysts and financial controllers
- Distribute workload across business initiatives
- Coordinate with Product, Tech, and Operations to resolve third-party blockers
Required qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years in banking, fintech, payments, or payment processors
- 2–3 years leading business analysis, financial control, or FP&A teams
- Strong experience in forecasting, budgeting, and P&L analysis for transactional or high-volume businesses
- Proven vendor management and contract negotiation experience, ideally in regulated environments
- Experience managing payment network relationships
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or related field (required)
- MBA or Finance/Business specialization (desirable)
- Business Intelligence tools (Looker, Power BI, Tableau) (desirable)
- SQL for database queries (desirable)
- Advanced English, written and oral
